Refugee Family Welcome Group
There are 3 phases essentially for the Mars Hill Welcoming Group:
- Airport reception/welcome
- Providing initial essential items (towels, mattresses, soap--we'll need to add to this list with caseworker's input).
- The move in to the new apartment--which would include some culturally appropriate food, some clothing for family (especially winter/school clothing.) This would be a phenomenal opportunity for your House Church community or for you and your friends to connect with selected refugee families. Will you help in responding to the various needs that refugees encounter entering a strange and foreign country?
