Kids Hope Mentors + Support Team
Thirty kids at Burton Elementary School in Grand Rapids are waiting for caring, supportive mentors through Kids Hope USA. Mentors meet at the school with one child for one hour each week. You and/or your House Church are also welcome to join the Support Team, helping out with hospitality, special events + projects, and summer camp planning.
High School Student Mentor
We need people who are willing to establish relationships with high school students at Potter's House High School. We still need 18 male mentors. We also need 11 female mentors. Keep on your radar a chance to help out with Kids Games this summer through this trusted partner.

At-Risk Youth Mentor
Mars Hill partners with Dorchester House Ministries, centered at "the Dorchester House" in the Black Hills neighborhoods of SW Grand Rapids. The Cameron family, along with their leadership team (made up of some Mars Hill folks) coordinate and operate a Wednesday evening tutoring program in the fall (which is a supper club in the summer) as well as a once a month "God's Club", which is like a VBS style outreach to the neighborhood children. To be involved, we ask for a regular commitment, a willingness to serve and learn, and we also require background checks.
