Why is Mars Hill involved in HIV/AIDS?
Those that have been infected by HIV have largely been forgotten and marginalized by the Christian Church today. We believe that Jesus demonstrated love for all people, especially those that had been marginalized or forgotten by the religious community of his day. As a Community of followers of Jesus, our desire is to demonstrate that same love.
How is Mars Hill doing this?
By mobilizing human, financial, and spiritual resources to love and care for people and families affected by HIV/AIDS.
How do we respond to people that have made choices we do not endorse?
By loving and caring for all people, irrespective of behavior or lifestyle choices.
