Five percent of Rwandans have HIV/AIDS. In the capital city, 11.6% of pregnant women are infected. Simply providing the proper treatment is not enough.
In addition to supporting World Relief's Rwanda HIV/AIDS team, Mars Hill is also working with the organization to create a local, church-based approach to educating Rwandans who have not been infected, as well as caring and advocating for those who have.
